Hibiscus Resurrection

Last winter we had a few nights of hard freezes and, even though the hibiscus bush is up against the house and protected, it froze.  I left the dead branches on until the danger of frost was past and then trimmed them off.  I wasn’t sure that it was alive but it has come back to life and here’s the proof!

  1. You give me hope. I have three hibiscus plants. Two newly purchased this week were blooming, nothing but green leave now. The third one, I bought three years ago, it continues to grow taller and taller, and I continue to trim it down. Occasionally, a limp bloom which soon drops off. I live in Florida so weather isn’t my problem. Thank you for sharing.
