I don’t buy cupcake liners any more….

… because I found out how easy it is to make my own liners!  I followed the directions that I found here.  (I’ve since found may other websites that show this same technique, but this is the one I saw first.)

I have found that most of the baking that I do these days involves ingredients that stick to regular cupcake liners.  I bought a package of parchment paper liners and they were wonderful — but have you seen the price of those things?!?  Yikes!  Good thing that there’s another way.

For my pan, I cut the squares at about 4 inches and use the cap of my olive oil sprayer.  I just mold the paper around the cap and then plop it in the pan.  Works great every time and my muffins don’t stick!
